Billing, Insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare

Patient Accounting will be happy to assist you with any billing or insurance questions you may have. You may either contact us by phone between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at (217)876-3785 or visit us at the main hospital building.

At DMH -- as a private, not-for-profit hospital -- we strive to provide high quality care at a reasonable cost. As a service to our patients, we will bill your insurance carrier directly. Your hospital bill will include room charges, meal charges, and other hospital services, such as nursing, laboratory, and medications. If you have been attended by a hospital-based physician, such as a radiologist, you may recieve a separate bill from that physician.
