To expedite care, every room is equipped to take care of any patient type- from the most complex to the most simple complaint.

Our computerized documentation system- and patient tracking board allows health care providers from all disciplines (lab, radiology, nursing, physicians, etc. ) to have real-time information on patient status and the status of diagnostic studies and inpatient room availability.

6Sigma has been utilized to streamline processes within the department to decrease the time from patient arrival to the time first seen by a physician. Satisfaction scores have improved as a result of this and other endeavors we have undertaken to meet the expectations of our patients. Process redesign has impacted lab turn around time as well. A radiology suite with a CT dedicated to the emergency department patients is located just across the hall from the new department. This expedites radiology studies for our patients.
